Changes to How your Self Managed Super Fund receives Employer contributions.

From 1 July 2014, employers with 20 or more employees are required to send contributions electronically to all superannuation funds.

If you are a trustee of a SMSF then you will be receiving these contributions information electronically.

Conversely, if you are a member of a Self managed Superannuation Fund then you need to notify your employer of your “Superstream ESA Notification”. For those clients going through the Emerge administration service the chosen ESA is “smsfdataflow”.
